What is A-TONE?
A-Tone is a premium IPL and PIP toning system that allows for highly effective and safe treatment using low voltage power supply, which makes the specific wave light penetrated into the deep skin selectively. Appearing with an innovative lamp design, A-Tone is optimized to treat light pigments in the deep skin, and effective on toning and high-removal without side effect.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and PIP (Pulse in Pulse) technology are incorporated together with A-Tone to avoid typical limitations of existing IPL machines. PIP system allows for delivery of high peak power within relatively short emission time, and the non-invasive treatment method allows for minimally-painful, effective treatment of skin pigmentation, freckles, acne, veins, hair removal, etc.

PIP Technology
Because it release several short wavelengths (10 PIP pulse in 1ms) during short time using PIP System (Pulse In Pulse System), heat transfer which the light energy absorbed in melanin to the skin cells is much decreased and the temperature of melanin targeted goes high and destroyed, but near cells are protected from heat damage. Therefore, it is possible to treat melasma without side-effect.
Optimized Lamp Design and Spectral Distribution
The spectral distribution of A-Tone is more effective on target tissue because effective wavelengths (400nm ~ 800nm) are concentrated and the undesired wavelengths (over 800nm) is filtered. This optimal spectral distribution improves clinical effect and minimizes side effects.
Perfect Square Pulse
A-Tone guarantees maximum clinical result with the ideal square pulse - same power energy level is maintained during each pulse, and it goes down to “0” at the end of the pulse. This minimizes the risk of side effects by preventing uneven energy and unexpected effects during pulse.
